Frequently Asked Questions
Is TheranosTest really free to use?
Yes. Searching, viewing scores, submitting evidence, and reading everything on the site is 100% free for everyone, forever.
Can companies pay to improve or remove their score?
No. Never. Scores are calculated automatically from public data, regulatory records, publications, and verified user evidence. No amount of money can change, hide, or influence a score.
What if a company says the score is wrong or unfair?
They can submit an official response and upload any supporting documents (trials, FDA letters, audits, etc.). Every response appears permanently and prominently on their profile. If new, legitimate evidence meets our criteria, the score updates automatically — the same way it would for any user-submitted evidence.
How accurate is the score?
The score is only as accurate as the available evidence. It improves when better evidence appears and drops when problems are documented. We show the full breakdown and all sources so you can decide for yourself.
Who runs TheranosTest?
An independent project created to help people avoid scams and fraud. We are not affiliated with any company, government agency, or special interest group.
How do you prevent fake reviews or AI-generated evidence?
Every submission goes through automated AI authenticity checks for obvious fabrications, spam, and inconsistencies. Submissions that pass these checks are marked 'AI-Verified.' We're building additional verification methods including expert review and cross-referencing with public databases as we scale.
Can I stay anonymous when submitting?
Yes. You can submit completely anonymously or choose to show your role (e.g., "Patient", "Physician", "Former employee").
Will you ever sell my data?
No. Personal data is never sold, never shared with third parties, and is deleted on request.
What happens if someone submits false evidence?
Repeated or proven malicious submissions lead to a permanent ban. We reserve the right to report coordinated fraud attempts to relevant authorities.
Is TheranosTest only for healthcare companies?
No! TheranosTest works for ANY company or industry - healthcare, crypto, investment platforms, tech startups, crowdfunding campaigns, MLMs, employment opportunities, and more. If someone's asking for your money, time, or trust, we help you check if they're legitimate.
What if I think a score is wrong?
Scores are based on publicly available information and submitted evidence. If you have additional information that should be considered, submit evidence through our platform. Companies can also submit official responses with supporting documentation. Scores update automatically when new verified evidence is added.
